The Big Country fan poll was conducted via a web form that was open to the public for 3 weeks during the summer of 1997. A total of 134 people participated in one or more parts of the poll. Participants were asked to:
- rank the 8 studio albums (including Wonderland) in order, from their most favorite to least favorite;
- rank the 4 live albums;
- list their "Top 10" favorite Big Country songs, in order, with their favorite song first;
- name the worst Big Country song ever created and commercially released (covers were not eligible for this category).
Analyses of the results in the first three of the above categories were conducted with weighted scales. Please see any of the full reports for an explanantion of the methodology.
