The Big Country Email Discussion List
The Big Country email discussion list (known simply as "The List") was retired in October 2000. It was a forced retirement, brought on by a total meltdown of my ISP's list server (the commonly available web-based discussion forums and lists available now didn't exist back then, so such a failure was a big deal in those days). The current list is the Yahoo Big Country group. I am a member, but I don't manage it.
Brief History of The List
"The List" was created in 1994, and was the first on-line forum for Big Country fans. I assumed management responsibilities in May 1997. The List membership grew to about 200 participants, and many are still around in the current Yahoo Big Country group. Many friendships were formed on The List, and over the years it grew into a close community of Big Country fans.If you were a member of The List and wish to receive an email copy of any of the old digests, please email me and let me know which date(s) you are interested in.
